Welcome to the official website of the Medical Society of Papua New Guinea.
The Medical Society of Papua New Guinea (MSPNG) was born in the early 1960s during the formative years of the Papuan Medical College. It was registered by that name as a Professional Society under the society Act 1962.
It is a professional society comprising various health care workers that include specialists like medical officers, dental officers, medical researchers and scientists, pharmacists, allied health workers. Be a health care worker from any recognized health related institution both in PNG and overseas.
2019 Medical Symposium
The Medical Society of Papua New Guinea will be hosting the 55th Medical Symposium in the National Capital District at the Hilton Hotel from Sunday 1st-6th of September 2019.
The theme for this year is “Health Education”.
The Symposium will be Co-Hosted by the 2019 Medical Symposium Committee, School of Medicine & Health Sciences(UPNG), PMGH & Private collaborators.
Call For Papers
The Medical Society invites Doctors, Health Workers, Medical Researchers, NGO’s, Church Health Workers, Company Health Workers, Private Health Care Providers, Academics and any interested members of the public to submit papers relevant to the theme through this email: firstname.lastname@example.org
All abstracts (including authors & key words) are to be no more than 300 words (in MS Word). The scientific committee will review abstracts and you will be notified whether your abstract has been accepted or not after the deadline for submissions has closed.
The closing date for Abstract submission is on the 30th June 2019.
