Past Symposia
The Medical Society of Papua New Guinea was established on 28 July 1964 and on March 1965 took on the responsibility of The Papua New Guinea Medical Journal. In 1965, The Society held the first symposium in Goroka on the theme of pigbel.
The Medical Symposium has been held every year since then – a significant achievement. Below is the list of all Symposia which have been held since.
